PURPOSE:

 

To existing and new business opportunities within the South America region, investigate new locations and services, engage with new and existing customers and manage new projects from concept until handover to Operations as well as foster growth by exploring emerging markets and monitoring industry trends, conducting competitive analysis, and executing strategic planning to enhance market presence and drive overall success.

 

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients in Brazil, Chile and Uruguay to secure ongoing business and develop new opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of existing business operations, implementing strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities in South America by researching and analyse market trends.
  • Identify and pursuing new market segments to diversify revenue streams
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations ,engineering teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis to ensure alignment on revenue goals.
  • Work closely with the supply chain/Operations team to oversee product/service availability, logistics, and fulfilment processes.
  • Engage with Legal team to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies when entering new markets or negotiating contracts
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape in South America to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote company products and services.
  • Negotiate and close business deals and meet revenue targets.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new business.
  • Report on business development activities, results, and forecasts to regional management
  • Expand company's client base in the region
  • Enhance brand visibility and market positioning through targeted campaigns
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the projects, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Foster relationships with new locations authorities, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth operations and compliance with regulations..
  • Manage new business opportunities from concept to handover to Operations.
  • Monitor progress against project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track until the handover to operations.
